CAMARADEROUS

ABOUT

The story of Camaraderous began with Luke, one of our founders, who is not only a highly skilled machine learning engineer by day, but also a top ranked gamer in Awesomenauts by night. One evening, while playing with a long-time teammate, the teammate mentioned in passing that he worked in enterprise sales for an AI SaaS company. Luke quickly explained his own background and both players realized they had missed out on discussing their careers earlier. They've since supported each other in various aspects of their lives, but the question lingered - why couldn't it have happened sooner?

Camaraderous is both a mission and an experiment in identity in games. In multiplayer games, it's common to avoid sharing personal information to avoid any negative feedback. However, we believe that being open about ourselves in a supportive environment can help build relationships and foster personal development. Multiplayer games are a powerful way to grow connections with others, and being authentic allows us to help each other and humanize each other in a way that anonymity doesn’t allow.

At Camaraderous, we're working to create a community where players feel comfortable sharing more about themselves, including their professional backgrounds, and can build meaningful connections with others. By sharing our experiences and interests, we can create a more supportive and fulfilling gaming experience for all.
